Our Ministries

No matter your stage or season of life, we want you and your family to join us! Your family is always welcome here at Black Hills Church.

  • Children's home

    Once a month a team of volunteers plan and prepare the breakfast meal for the children current at the Black Hills Children's Home. The breakfast menu may vary, but it is always warm and delicious. (unofficially rated as 5 stars from the kids!)

    On the day of the event, the church group will arrive at the children's group home early in the morning to set up and prepare the food. We work together to cook, serve, and clean up after the meal.

    While the children are eating breakfast, the church group will also spend time with them, engaging in conversations and enjoying a meal. We also provide a time of entertainment and learning with singing, puppet shows, skits and more!

    This ministry is a way for members of our church to demonstrate their commitment to serving their community and helping those in need. It provides a tangible way to show love and care for children who may be facing difficult circumstances and helps to create a sense of community and connection between the church and the local community.

  • youth

    If you spend any time around our church at all, you'll quickly learn one thing: we love our youth. They're smart. They're funny. They're bold. And they're bursting with potential. We truly believe that the middle and high school students in our midst are world changers in the making.

    That's why student ministry is such a huge part of what we do at our church. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story He's writing with their lives. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives.
